WJ Summer Party & Presentation Evening - Saturday 14th June
Our parties just get better and better….and this year we have a new venue for our summer event. The party will be held at Allenbury's (GSK) Social Club, so it shouldn't be quite as hot and sweaty as Waggers! The Social Club are providing the catering for us and we have to give them final numbers 6 days before the event. Unfortunately this means that the last chance to purchase tickets will be Sunday 8 th June, we can't sell any tickets after that date. Tickets are just £15.00 each

Wine Tasting - Allenburys (GSK) Social Club - Friday 20 th June
15 different wines from 8 countries…..sounds like a great excuse to get very merry. Speak to Andy French if you want to go along. Tickets are just £5 each

Open Air Theatre - Broxbourne Civic Hall - Wednesdays 18 th June & Wednesday 2 July
If your ordered tickets for either “All's Well That Ends Well” on 18th June, or “Tess of the D'Urbervilles” on the 2nd July please collect them from Jan now. Both performances start at 7.30pm but grounds open at 6pm, so we are planning a picnic beforehand.

WJ Cake Stall at Ware Week - Saturday 5th July
Make a date in your diary, as the good people of Ware will be queuing to part with their hard earned cash at the now infamous Ware Joggers cake and play silly games stall.

WJ on Tour: Essex Castles Cycle Ride
- Saturday 19th July
Need a new challenge after the marathon? Fancy a bike ride round the glorious Essex countryside? Why not enter the Essex Castle bike ride in aid of Marie Curie. There's a choice of 25, 50 or 75 mile routes. Starting in Colchester and heading out along the Stour Valley to Castle Hedingham and Finchingfield.

Van Morrison at Audley End
- Saturday 2 August
If you ordered tickets to see Van the Man play at Audley End please see Jan. We managed to get a small reduction for the group so all tickets are £30.40 (instead of £32.00)

GO APE – Thetford Forest - Saturday 6th September
Just when you thought it was safe…….zip wires, islands in the sky, all at 35 feet off the ground in the forest canopy. We are planning a morning session on the rope course (lasts about 3 hours) so there will be plenty of time to explore Thetford Forest . If you don't fancy the ropes course there are loads of great bike trails (take your own or hire on site), some lovely walks and a sculpture trail. If people are interested we could organise a mini WJ orienteering competition for the afternoon.

GO APE costs £25 for Gorillas (over 18yr) and £20 for Baboons (10-17 years – minimum height 4'7”). Parking at High Lodge in Thetford is £6 per day. If you are interested in coming along please see the notice on the board.

And finally ….. IMPORTANT DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
